Pricing questions we get every week.
What is a credit?+
One credit covers one invoice payment. It is charged the moment your customer picks a coin on the checkout page. If they change their mind and switch to a different coin on the same invoice, that costs nothing extra — one invoice, one credit.
Do you take a cut of my payments?+
No. There is no percentage fee on anything your customers send. Credits are the entire cost of using Geat.io, and they are paid upfront, separately from your sales. Whatever a customer pays you, you keep.
Where do my funds land?+
In your own wallet. You give us an xpub, we derive a fresh receiving address per invoice from it, and your customer pays that address directly on-chain. Geat.io is non-custodial: we never hold your money, so there is nothing to withdraw, no caps, and no holds.
What happens if an invoice expires unpaid?+
The credit comes back automatically. An invoice that nobody ever sent coins to refunds its credit to your balance, so abandoned checkouts and failed attempts do not eat into what you paid for.
Is there a free trial?+
Every new account gets 20 free credits at onboarding. That is 20 real payments — enough to wire up your store, ship it, and take live money before you pay us anything.
How do I top up?+
Buy a credit pack in your dashboard and pay for it in crypto — BTC, ETH, LTC, or USDT — through our own checkout. 100 credits for $9, 1,000 for $70, or 10,000 for $500. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no subscription.
How does that compare to a percentage processor?+
A credit costs the same whether the invoice is $5 or $5,000. On a $100 sale, a 1% processor takes $1.00 and a Geat.io credit costs between five and nine cents. On a $1,000 sale that processor takes $10.00 and the credit is still the same nickel. Percentage pricing charges you more the more you earn; this does not.
